Yes, it's not a high budget movie. Yes, the actors are relatively unknown. And, yes, maybe, it's even a little hokey. The soundtrack is haunting. The main character is a scientist trying to understand and deal with the consequences of his actions. And, the ending has stayed with me since I first saw it a couple of decades ago. So profound. I love this movie.

I've watched it many times. The ending still gets me.

Practically perfect: strong female rolls, scary, suspenseful, witty, good story line, super photography and sound track, wonderful actors who gave excellent performances.

Great actors and acting. The closeness to the 2 main characters was touching, the movie was violent, but most of all, I think, it was a tribute to pit bulls. The plight of the pit bull, very sad. This movie stayed with me for days after I watched it. The ending is wonderful.

I really liked the characters and then the story got really interesting.

I miss Byrd, allot. The new show is ok. I don't care for the in-depth synopsis at the end of each episode. I guess I liked the old format better.
