The best movie of the early 00's

Such an intense watch. For a moment you think it's just a very simple movie. And then it involves into something much deeper, darker, and more frightening than you ever expected for such a premise. Brilliant. Will be rewatching and analyzing it for years!

Slow burn type of film, with some super traumatic moments. The acting is phenomenal as well. Definitely a movie where your full attention is required.

Super thought provoking and incredibly well-structured. I will remember these characters for a long time.

Beautiful, well-paced, and DEVASTATING!

I think the show starts off really well with the character development; immediately we know who we are rooting for and who to be wary of, and the unfolding of each character is just fascinating. To all the prudes complaining about the sex; get over yourselves. Or go get laid, lol. To those complaining about little dialogue; do you need someone to hold your hand all the time? I am upset about one character's demise so early in the show, but it definitely lays the foundation for more social commentary and personal reflection (within us and within the characters most affected by it). I hope the themes it presents to us are further explored and that the characters prove to be "of worth". I hope it gets a lot of love. It is nothing like I've seen before.

Such a breath of fresh air in terms of concept, themes, and execution. When we push each other to conform, it hurts us in so many ways. This is an exploration of what it's like to meet someone who allows you to grow in a space of friendship, love, and genuine care. Can't wait for season 2.
