I'll admit, the first season was a bit rough to get through. It kept me interested as they built towards the finale, but it always felt like there should be more. Well, the second season delivered. It was absolutely mind-blowing. It was loaded with twists and turns and mystery and came together in a full-circle at the end; on top of dropping a crazy ending that makes you want more. It created a whole new world with endless possibilities from which the show could stem and pursue. Netflix cancelling the 3rd part is absolutely criminal.
