It's a testament to show what life was like when the monster was still around, the way the series is made gives you a clear visual idea of who the real Jimmy Savile was. To fully understand The Reckoning, it's worth reading the Life and Lies written by Dan Davies. Everything you've seen on screen is documented based on real events, the stages of each episode shows us the rise to power of one man and how he used and abused that power. Although I was initially skeptical of Coogan's cast. His portrayal is haunting with the victim's voice showing the viewer layers of what the hidden lair really is.

The first series was great in terms of writing and production, but as the next series came rolling in, the air of dread in the show soon felt, "weird" I don't know if it was the change in the storyline or the main actor. But it didn't feel like the show it was back in the day. As the Fifth series came, it soon came to me it was'nt the production or rather the writers but the guy himself, his just so bad in terms of personality and everything about him. #bringbackNoelEdmonds
