Due to the realism and authenticity of this film, I prefer this portrayal compared to the original that it's inspired by. I don't know how many people have ever read a crime port or seen/heard a true crime story on TV or YouTube, but this film reads as a more realistic portrayal of real life events compared to the Danish version. The original Speak No Evil (2022) effectively reads as a European couple allows three strangers to effectively cut out their child's tongue while doing NOTHING in retaliation, being stripped naked and being literally stoned to death, suffering humiliation and degradation in almost every way possible. Although this version of Speak No Evil was produced by American Horror company Blumhouse, this version reads as a more realistic portrayal of events (although there would obviously be more casualties of the side of the visiting family or at the very least more critical injuries). The set of events that transpired in this film as compared to the original feel like a more realistic police report that you would read in a place like Brazil, Japan, Indonesia, Poland, Mexico, or frankly any part of the world. That is why I not only prefer this film to it's original compatriot, but I would heavily RECOMMEND watching this version of the original. The raw portrayal of emotions and the struggle to fight, scrape, claw and survive against impending death gives this film a FAR more relatable and endearing feel to it. Even the ending scene (which can be shocking to some viewers) still gives off a more honest depiction of what someone would do if given a chance to enact revenge onto something to caused them immense grief, pain and emotional suffering. Overall, I very much enjoyed this film over the original and believe that those who prefer the original are completely entitled to their opinion, but have maybe never been in a position where they had to use conflicts or physical violence to defend themselves against a potential threat. This much enjoyed this film, 11/10.

Normally I LOVE a good action movie, this latest installment in the franchise lacked any real grit, passion or motive that make these movies great in the first place. It was mostly just violence for the sake of it. Some egotistical villain who's not very interesting or important AT ALL and some decent fight scenes. This version of John Wick really dropped the ball for me personally. It was.... alright. The traffic fight scenes was pretty cool. Overall, just kind of a let down tho....

I don't get it. It was a illogical and nonsensical conclusion to a strange, convoluted and honestly bad movie
