I didn't enjoy this television program.

Totally shin .. I spelled that wrong , but you get the general idea.

This film is not as good as the 84 version. It's very long , the bad guys are nowhere near evil/odd enough.. and the good guys are also not odd enough. It just does not sell itself as being 8000 years in the future. The special effects are not as good as the 84 version.... I'll let that sink in. The number of slow motion shots of daggers and sand.. without any gravitas, drive you to distraction. Also the sound and score are below par. Lynch's version was slated at the time as being over done... But in hindsight it was way closer in tone, and the script was just better... O well.
