I watched the whole thing because I love anything about skating... but honestly had to force myself. The acting is CRINGE and the writing is terrible! The lack of hockey terminology is laughable. Super unfortunate.

I was VERY shocked that she went for Peter in the end. The whole movie took you on this journey that made you fall in love with John and lose interest in Peter entirely. Then, you finally get the kiss you’ve been waiting for, and boom your heart is ripped out of your chest as she walks away and goes back to Peter? What!? And then the ending wraps up immediately. It felt anticlimactic, like there was all this build and romance for it to start exactly as it began.
