As a fan of the first 2 movies, can I just say........run. This movie is borderlined unwatchable. Even the kids didn't like it.

Boring. Tries too hard to be poetic / artistic. I hope you like 7 episodes of talking. Cause that's what this is. 7 hours of artistic, poetic, self indulgent monologues. The only horrifying part of this series was the fact that I convinced myself that maybe it will get better and continued to watch.

Just beat it. So good!! A lot amazing call backs to the original titles. Great story, great gameplay. Not necessarily scary, and the storage system is dumb. But every else about the game is amazing! I will be going for the platinum trophy.

It's the "chick flick" of horror t.v. Not what was expected, but not in a good way. Yes, there is the occasional appearance of ghosts. No, they are not scary. The first and arguably only jump scare in the entire season didn't appear until the second or third to last episode. A couple of neat twists, but overall very underwhelming. If you are interested in a blooming romance story that takes 9 episodes to become a heart filled fairy tale, then you will probably enjoy this. If, like me, you watched for the horror series that was it's predecessor (Hill House), you will likely be disappointed.
