It's the "chick flick" of horror t.v.
Not what was expected, but not in a good way. Yes, there is the occasional appearance of ghosts. No, they are not scary. The first and arguably only jump scare in the entire season didn't appear until the second or third to last episode. A couple of neat twists, but overall very underwhelming. If you are interested in a blooming romance story that takes 9 episodes to become a heart filled fairy tale, then you will probably enjoy this. If, like me, you watched for the horror series that was it's predecessor (Hill House), you will likely be disappointed.
