All I will say is that if you have seen the original and loved it, as I did, don't bother with this sequel as it doesn't come close, just like most sequels. Just watch the first one twice. Anyone that says otherwise is a twat!

Not even worth a wank. Utter trash and another solid reason to hate the French.

The people who have given this below average film 5 stars know absolutely nothing about movies and most of them don't even know the actors in it. Classic storytelling they say. Really? They've ripped off Star Wars, Battle Beyond The Stars, Seven Samurai, Magnificent Seven and more. Special effects are below par, computer game standard in fact. Acting is awful, script even worse. Got through an hour and a half of The Director's Cut last night and switched it off when I started feeling nauseous. Confirms what I already know - there isn't a single original idea in Hollywood these days.

Utter crap......don't watch it

Better than average thriller with a good cast and acting and a plot that didn't disappoint and kept the tension going until the end. Those that gave it one star didn't have the brain power or attention span to last the slightly over 2 hour running time and were obviously disappointed because there wasn't enough gore or shoot outs or sex scenes which is what a lot of bubble gum chewing retards want from most films these days.

Great film and performances. Unfortunately a sad reminder of how people are such wankers and kids are lying little brats. The killing of the deer and the dog just confirms this. Wankers, all of them.

Has all the wit, emotion and excitement of a turd

A great big steaming turd of a film. Its amazing that anyone who was associated with this was allowed to work in the film industry again. Ridley Scott has been responsible for some of the finest moments in cinema but his behemoth of an ego got the better of him with this utter filth. I have experienced more joy from a bad case of piles than from watching this drivel.

Its sharp, witty, politically incorrect and most importantly its funny. Great supporting cast and as always, a tour de force performance from the fantastic Brendan Gleeson, one of our finest British actors. What more can you want? Slainte !
