Poor, now watched two episodes, it's now no more than Coronation Street set in the wrong era. The characters are not believable and, sorry guys, the lords and ladies aren't posh enough.

Yet again it seems the critics vastly over rated a film.

Loved the TV series but just watched the film and it is terrible, there is nothing good about it. Poor story line, jumps all over the place and the ending, if can watch the film long enough, is at total let down. Why, why, why did they take a great series and kill it.

Leaves you thinking "so what?" Redford is no Clint Eastwood, who I believe would eat a script like this one for breakfast, instead Redord has an obsession with close ups of his withered face in preference to telling what could have been a classic story, sorry but 3 out of 10 for this one.
