Like Industry (another HBO show), it’s just hard to enjoy a show when absolutely none of the characters are even remotely likeable. There is not one person in this show I was rooting for (except maybe Nicole, simply because of her crazy, unappreciative, and disrespectful family). Shane, the two teenage girls, and the mentally unstable woman with her mother’s ashes were unbearable to watch. Everyone seems to think that Belinda is a good character, and while I did feel bad for her at the end, she had selfish intentions like almost everyone else. Other than the characters, the plot line was almost nonexistent, there were a million lengthy and unnecessary scenes of ocean water paired with annoying music, and the ending was very unsatisfying. Also, there was an extremely gross scene in the last episode (I doubt that I need to clarify, but it was the one involving a suitcase). The only thing that kept me watching was because I was curious to see how Rachel and Shane ended up and I did want to find out which character died. Overall, I was not a fan of this show.

i will admit that the ending of the last episode had a crazy twist i was not expecting. but other than that surprise, this show was just mediocre. at first it was interesting and i kept watching because i really wanted to find out more about the weird nature of adele and david’s relationship and what caused it. however, the last couple of episodes were just completely bizarre. all of a sudden we find out that adele has the ability to leave her body and travel anywhere and watch exactly what is happening anywhere she chooses to go??? and louise somehow figures out how to do this as well?? this concept just doesn’t make sense and is frankly quite stupid. and then louise just leaves her body when adele is trapped in her burning house instead of calling the police?? i mean what was she trying to accomplish by doing that? the very end was also just completely unsatisfying and sad. overall, this show got off to a good start and actually had potential, then just went downhill during the last couple of episodes. i definitely wouldn’t watch it again.

what people don’t understand is that video games have the ability to change over time and evolve- in fact they SHOULD evolve. personally, i wouldn’t have wanted a game exactly like TTYD. and like someone else said in their review, people who hate on this game simply because it’s not the same as TTYD (which is 99% of the people who don’t like this game) are “blinded by nostalgia.” you need to appreciate this game for what it is on its own- interesting plots for each level, detailed and entertaining personalities for almost every single character, and just overall an amazing concept and so much fun to play. i’ve played this game four times and would definitely play it again.

this game isn’t horrible, but it’s just not as good as color splash in my opinion. i don’t think i could have the patience to play this game again because the battles are so monotonous and boring. i prefer the simpler battles in color splash and sticker star, because having to complete a puzzle for every single little battle just is extremely annoying and time consuming. also, i feel like the characters in this game have less personality than in the previous two games. however, i still enjoyed this game because i love anything paper mario.

just finished this show. while it has its moments, it’s nothing too exciting. also, they managed to create a main character that is so extremely unlikeable that i was mad at her almost the entire time i was watching it. and it’s hard to enjoy a show when you can’t stand the main character. and i’m pretty unsatisfied with the ending. harper made so many serious mistakes, lied to her superiors on multiple occasions, and was so disrespectful to almost every one of her coworkers as well as the bank’s clients. plus she has no personality, AND she was just so rude to yasmin and daria who were so nice to her the entire show. i mean, i knew the whole time that they were going to permanently hire harper since she is the main character of the show, but part of me hoped that she would get fired since i kind of hate her. overall, if you’re interested in business, stocks, investments, etc, and if you aren’t easily annoyed, then you might like this show.
