This, with some hiccups was the best of the "Arrowverse" offerings. Stephen Amell absolutely "nailed" it. In the past great actors and actresses left shows for fear of typecasting. Recent history has greatly reduced this concern with Movie, Broadway, and Netflix offerings. Scarlet Johansson (Black Widow) is a perfect example of navigating this terrain perfectly in reverse fashion. James Arness played Marshall Matt Dillon successfully for 20 years on Gunsmoke quite happily. I think Stephen Amell made a big mistake here, both philosophically and financially. His new show is a gigantic bust. As the quintessential "Arrow" he could have negotiated time off to pursue Movie roles while maintaining his huge fanbase. I believe he will come to regret his decision to leave. Fortunately for him and the CW I'm certain the door is always open for his return.

Melissa Benoist was "made" for this role and is outstanding as both Super Girl and Kara Danvers. Story line and plots, for the most part are good, although can drag on. Social engineering is heavy handed, and can be distracting at times. Villains and fight scenes are exceptional and for the most part make up for poor writing in some episodes. Chris Woods character Mon-El is annoying and was probably kept in show so long because he is Ms. Benoist's real life love interest. The whole thing is a feminist lovefest, but entertaining nonetheless because of excellent performances and breathtaking action. Seasons 1-4 8/10.

Season 1 was a gem. Believe everything you've read about it. Krysten Ritter absolutely nails the sassy, irreverent, superhero private eye. Beautiful, intelligent, but boozy, sloppy, and sarcastic, It's never been done better and she was the standout "star" of the series. Mike Colter, as Luke Cage was the best of the supporting cast but disappeared, only to star with her again in the Defenders (thank God) because everyone else in that series besides the characters of Jessica and Luke were complete "duds". 10 out of 10 for season 1. 8 out of 10 for season 2. and get ready for this 1 out of 10 for season 3 which is a complete "bore fest" of character expansion for the supporting cast who are undeserving of the time wasted on them and popular contemporary political and social memes. Hope Disney Plus revives this series once again with the excellent Krysten Ritter at the forefront doing what she does best.

Was apprehensive about this show at first, but grew to love it over time. The finale was fitting and brilliant, at the same time. Some tremendous actors and actresses in this series and I'm certain as a result they will be snapped up for other major projects. Hope some consideration will be made to bring them back for a major (Avengers like) Motion Picture. Would bring in a great box office. If you haven't seen it, do so. 9.5/10.
