Great idea, great acting, all hijacked to provide political commentary through the lense of current social media attitudes, feels like an approved list of subjects to include. Appalling writing resulting in forced narratives, very disappointing. This is common to several Apple TV productions. Made it to episode 6 S1, but it became unwatchable.

Brilliant adaptation, the full epic nature of the story comes out in bucketloads, with the stunning visuals and rampant soundtrack!. The screenplay has been respectfully handled with tweaks for cinematic effect having minimal impact on herberts masterful narrative. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great idea, misses the mark for me unfortunately. formulaic action, transparent plot, poor moralising ending.
