Notwithstanding all of the negative reviews from the critics I found the film atmospheric capturing the look and feel of Stalinist post war Russia and the almost claustrophobic paranoid intensity in every scene in the film, due in no small part To The strong cast, all of whom are excellent , especially Tom Hardy , and Noomi Rapace who has been popping up in a number of films just recently. And I happen to love Gary Old man. From Sid Vicious to Dracula and Beethoven he's always compelling
