So I was listening to Sleep and chill on Spotify when I heard “Death of Dignity” i was instantly hooked with Surfjan Stevens falsetto range. I did some digging to learn about the title of his album “Carrie and Lowell” 😥 (I’m not going to say what I read and my condolences to his family) while listening this album it felt so nostalgic that I started to reminiscence about how life as a child living in Missouri. My point of view on this album is a songbook about grief, acceptance and forgiveness. It put such a perspective on life on how I need to appreciate for what I have in my life (my mom and entire family)
