it's far from perfect, but i can't give it 4.5 stars, so i'm giving it a 5. i haven't really been able to get into star trek before, except for (most of) the films, but this has captured that itch i've never knew i had for star trek things. some things don't make much sense - scientific or otherwise - which is why it would have lost half a star, but it more than makes up for it with its characters, worldbuilding, and story arcs. amazing quality as well - felt like watching many mini-films. too bad its seasons are so short, but i believe it's necessary for the level of CGI quality this has.
