As i loyal fan of Doctor Who, I'm sorry to say how bitterly disappointed i am in this new series and it's got nothing to do with the doctor being a woman!! The writing is weak. The Doctor is supposed to an unstoppable force in space and time. During David Tennants run, River song said "Iv watched whole armies turn and flee before him". "The Doctor could open the tardis with a click of his fingers. And Matt Smith's doctor got imprisoned in the Pandorica, when all his enemy's banded together because they could not defeat the doctor on their own!! These writers are doing Jodie a huge disservice. Ok..a new doctor is uncertain of themselves for a couple of episodes...Matt trying different foods with young Amy Pond and settling on fish fingers and custard but after 6 episodes this doctor is still stumbling round without any real clue. No razor sharp deductions, no running to save the day.."The Doctor runs" It looks like another classic is getting the SJW treatment. After watching episode 6 it became apparent that the doctor was totally redundant. The whole story was about the social upheaval as a result of the division of India. The token aliens did nothing, and were never planning to do anything. Ep 4 was about the dangers of incorrectly disposing of toxic waste and Ep3 was an indictment of segregation and the start of the American civil rights movement !!! Wt flip has that got to do with scfi and the doctor saving universe. Please Please Please dont let someone's social agenda ruin Jodie's chance of becoming one of the greats and let's unscramble her brain and let's the true doctor shine through or the show is on a downward path to cancellation...
