Brian Monteith, by his own admission, is an anarchist is a follower and blind believer in the free market but his beliefs seem that it is without a conscience. As a politician out of his Conservative party due to his extremism he seems to be on a mission to slate everybody for not following his cultish extremes. He has a huge reliance on his interpretation of statistics but as we know there is statistics, dam statistics and politicians and they are the worst at using and abusing to statistics to their own ends. His hero is Margaret Thatcher and her philosophies but as history has taught us she got it so wrong. Brian Monteith, throughout the book, advocates the rich getting richer and the to hell with the poor. So if you want a read of a farcical, black comedy and alienating book this may be worth laugh at but never with. It is so divisive it is insulting and racist and all its contents it’s scary that he even became a politician.
