This show is terrible. Never mind that they absolutely butchered the story. Robert Jordan is rolling in his grave. The writing is bad, with very little development. The story jumps forward rapidly with almost no explanation at times. You feel no connection to any of the characters. Pretty big shame. However because they changed the story so much, the show suffers tremendously. I understand that the written word can be difficult to put on screen. But the source material provided all the writers needed. There’s a reason the books are so loved. It’s because the story was so good. But for some reason the writers decided to change nearly everything, and to interject todays social and political issues in to their writing. The story is big, and would be a huge undertaking to make a series that aligned better with the original story. However, with Amazon’s resources they could have made a series that was truly epic!
