My friend and I went to watch After We Collided yesterday. We had high expectations and we were severely disappointed of the adaptation. The movie was chronologically incorrect and was missing very important character building scenes. For example Tessa had a very strong relationship with the Scott family and was with them through the hard parts of her relationship with Hardin. We barley saw any of these characters throughout the movie. There was very little emotion during the various break ups between Hardin and Tessa especially in the 9 days which was supposed to be very detailed and, to show the devastation of the losses they endured. There were no meaningful conversations between Hardin and Tessa about their love for each other, passion and future. The movie was very rushed especially during the breakups which made no sense and didn't give the audience a chance to take in what was happening. Overall the movie could have been great if the script wasn't written by a novel writer but written by a script writer. Even though it was not my favourite after movie, i'm still very excited to see what the 3rd and 4th movie has to offer. Cheers x
