I have been wanting this game for years, put it off and finally bought it this weekend while it was on sale for $6. All I've got to say is I would of been pretty upset if I had paid more.
I was really excited for a horror puzzle game, though the art is beautifully done the none moving angles and finicky controls make simple mistakes completely aggravating.
The puzzles are quite simple, and doesn't take much time to figure out. You fly through rooms quickly which makes me wonder why even put them in the game if you can walk through 3 rooms without encountering anything?
The game also doesn't give you any direction for the most part, no explanation in what each button does or how to make things work. So you start out kind of scrambling around trying to figure out how the controls even work. There's also no indicator to let you know if you can be seen or heard by the enemies. Most horror games have some way to portray to the player that you're about to get caught, this one does not. Once you're caught you won't always be respawned near by, sometimes yiu have to replay 3 rooms of puzzles just because you misjudged a stair case and fell to your death.
There were many frustrating parts of this game that had nothing to do with the actual intended game play. It was also super short. I bought it last night and finished it this afternoon, not much replay value either.
The game is pretty, and they did a good job on the art work. But the gameplay could definitely use some work.
