One of my all-time favorites, The Long, Hot Summer is filled with some of the finest actors of its day. This is not to forget the fantastic story it is based on. This is a film based on a hot summer in the South. Everything about it is hot, steamy, tense, and romantic. Kudos to Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Orson Wells, Angela Lansbury, Lee Reick, Tony Franciosa, and others. The theme song is unforgettable too.

This movie was slow-moving at first. But by the time it got to the climax, we were balling our eyes out. It was so touching. Watch it. Just hang in there for the great part.

A fantastic documentary on how small family farms can restore the soil and get rid of the poisonous dirt that large commercial farms have created. We are doomed if we don't do something to heal the earth and plant healthy food. We can survive. This film shows us how to do it and how it is being done, little by little. But time is of the essence. Start by watching this film NOW!
