Its a good show.. Give it a chance.

Way too overhyped, the acting was really bad, the fight scenes were meh. Opening fight scene, dudes are literally waiting in the background while the camera pans the main character posing after each strike. Not like john wick at all, whoever keeps comparing these is a bot.

I love food animes and action animes and funny animes and fantasy animes and this is all of those in one anime.

mixing history with fiction well. hope they have a season 2 but it ended well so im fine if they dont. never want a disappointment like altered carbon season 2 or reacher season 2. this show is not no samurai champloo or cowboy bebop but it has closure.

they couldve done a trilogy. this is 5 stars worthy and i normally prefer to wrap it all up but the story carried so much weight it couldve stretched, but for all i know they may actually stretch it. and there were certain things that was a bit much but overall, beautiful prequel.

i didnt think i would like this show. im all for female driven stories but i felt disney and marvel oversaturated the market with subpar story telling. however i been sick with the flu this past week and binged it after running out of shows to catch up on netflix and max. it is a really really good series that sticks to comic book heroes and arcs but gives a deeper level of feeling and connection. i normally write a few sentences about a show, but this show gets it, or at least how my sick butt feels right now hahahhahahaha. watch the show.
