Thrilling series so far. I am finishing book 3 and rushing to order book 4. I am hungry for each page. Book one is a kind of combo of The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Gattaca, and the Hunger Games. That is Hunger Games if the ruling class intentionally put their kids into the game.
In each book relish the moments of bloody triumph as much as the moments of utter defeat. To see the main character crawl so forcefully back from the depth of despair and crippling defeat are very empowering. The inner dialogue of the main character is very reminiscent of the Robert Heinlein books I consumed in my youth.
I think I might read all of the books out in a months time I am so hungry for them.
