Concept was good. Scriptwriters need their mouths washed out with soap trying to make seemingly educated people talk like street punks. For an English professor having an f-word in every sentence was nonsense. Lack of hordes of panicked people made it unrealistic The ending was the most sophisticated thing in the whole movie.

Sophia Loren was amazing in this production. The production is pretty corny and early 50's amateurish but there's never been a better actress playing this role. No wonder she later became a big star.
