The show delivers, from the optics, storyline, to the acting. I looooved Claude's gift to Professor Rabinow...it wrapped the entire series' storyline so neatly. Ahh, gotta repeat all the episodes, religiously!

Excellent storyline delivery. It's emotionally gripping and shows the huge gap between bureaucracy and humanity. The officers at the detention camps have to uphold the laws even though its costs them their souls and sanity, but there's very little that they can do. The people who design and protect the laws (Genevieve) are totally unaware of the realities in the camp, but they insist they have to be the ones who pull the plug at any decision to maintain their image. I just hate the fact that Sophia's s abuser didn't pay for damaging her life. And yes, the media plays a huge role in highlighting such challenges.

The first two episodes are inconsistent; like it's hard to figure out the real storyline. However, towards the end, like the last 6 or so episodes, the delivery and execution of the theme survive becomes clearer.
