Okay they changed some stuff from the book so they can progress a plot in a shorter amount of time and keep it worth watching… So what. The negative comments don’t do this movie version any justice. I’ve read the book so many times and they make the movie slightly more interesting than the book, which is a good thing, by adding these small and realistically different changes. It gives the movie more depth in a shorter amount of time than the read. I found it more enjoyable than the read and the ending more digestible with the movie adapted version and that should be completely okay with a one shot movie. Just saying 🤷🏼.
