With all the schlock that FollyWood is putting out, this one isn't the worst. It's decent. A reflective look on the use of technology and how it permeates our entire lives. The plot was fairly simple and straightforward. A few hiccups along the way and the big reveal seemed a let-down. That being said, the acting was pretty good, even for the kids. The young boy was quite good. With the advent of computers and AI taking over more and more of our daily tasks, along with more specialized areas in defense and medicine, it's a glimpse into the future of what could be. If an AI likes you, you become rich and successful. If it doesn't, what happens? You become poor, unhoused, or worse, accused of things that are not of your doing. In the modern age, video and voice is everywhere and whose to say anyone can tell the difference between fake and real? A good run-of-the-mill AI fearmongering film. Worth a one-time watch.
