Didn’t like it!! Hard to follow. Too dark. I guess I’m comparing it to the original that aired in the 50s and 60s. Didn’t really like the character

AWESOME MOVIE!!! It’s more than a movie. It’s an experience. This movie had me crying, laughing & furious...shaking my head at the ridiculousness of war. The cinematography and music were magnificent & lent themselves greatly to showing us the reality & horror of war. I forgot I was in a movie theater. I was drawn into the action as if I was right there on the battlefield sharing the indescribable fear of the young soldiers fighting to stay alive. And all because of the decisions of a few old men in high places. If I didn’t have to leave the theater for an appointment, I would have bought another ticket & stayed & watched it AGAIN. In fact, I might have stayed & watched it 2-3 more times that day. I’m a movie buff and aficionado, & few movies have impacted me like this one. I’m also a Martin Scorsese, Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, and Al Pacino fan. I really wanted “The Irishman“ to win this year‘s Oscar. But…of all the movies I have seen in 2019, this is an Oscar winner if I ever saw one!
