Don't listen to Kael Le Juge,
Dudes an idiot who knows nothing of gaming or basketball in general.
Anyway to the game at hand...
Unrealistic reactions from players doing things not possible by them. (JJ Reddick is now a pure Lockdown, KP has a 10 foot horizontal leap, the attribute system is cute but only to make you THINK you can do things that are easily negated by people with 0 defense.) Got a slasher? Get ready to never dunk. Got a sharp? You missing wide open shots. Hit a couple shots in a row? You're getting double teamed before half court, The AI on your team has no concept of pick up defense, and pass out of wide open layups and dunks. The loading screens are on par with Elder Scrolls Morrowind on Xbox.Get ready to get frustrated on day one. Refund please.
Patch 1.02
New patch came out... Wont post patch updates, claim to have fixed issues with servers and in game bugs, when in fact the only reason they came out with a patch is to fix there own mistake and fix the glitch that was losing them money. They will only repair something if its in their own financial interest. They bank on the micro-transactions So they would fix a badge and vc glitch but not the gameplay. Ive never seen some many zoom ball animations in my life. The ball is a foot out of bounds and it zooms into someones hands just to give you a turnover. The poke ball loose animations give you a disadvantage on defense----- WHEN YOUR ON DEFENSE!? You poke the ball loose and you and the ball handler do a 360 together as if your doing spins in a roller rink.. And then you end up behind him and he still has the ball, leaving you out of position. Not to mention 2k STILL hasn't fixed the problem where you are glued to the back of someone's jersey and unable to move around or basically move period untill the ball handler desides to nudge forward. Your constantly facing the wrong way when defending the corners and your players reaction time is 1/3 the speed of everyone else on the court. ( Despite being higher overall then 3/4 of the players on the court. ) In short the shooting mechanic is broken outside of cheesing AI with the Kobe size up animation, Defense is iffy at best, and the logic behind who ever made the mechanics for this game needs play their own game before charging AAA price for a AA gaming experience. Revised review, STILL 1/5.
