A slow burner but once you're in it you'll be devoured by it. Everything is topnotch. But the cinematography is outstanding and so is the acting of Chanchal Chowdhury...so subtle yet so impactful

Watched it countless times...won't mind watching it again!only an oceanic talent like Riwik Ghatak can create such a gem...it can be read on so many levels...yes it has has its flaws and that's what makes it so special aesthetically supreme timeless...it's based on a time that was culturally so rich but lost...we especially the Bengalis can only feel sad on that turbulent yet profound era where it was normal to be educated and liberal even amidst intense crisis!
