I loved this series, mostly for the characters who have a host of human issues, complexities and imperfections, they frustrated me at times but the series always engaged me and I was disappointed when it ended because the story lines were so real to life.

The humor is quirky and characters all very human and fallible, love the central character of Chip who is always distracted by some new or old pull on his time and energy that stops him fronting up in the initial relationship with Kara. All of the actors give solid performances. Kirstie Alley is brilliant in the role of Dennis's sexually inappropriate mother.
