This was an excellent film! While it was the boxing fan in me that prompted me to watch it, it was the movie buff in me that made me love it! It's simply a very well-told story, with some very solid directing and understated writing that allow the heart of the tale to come through. And all delivered with some truly fine acting! All the actors - and especially the child stars! - turn in some excellent performances. If you're a boxing fan, you MUST watch this. If you're not a boxing fan - I can guarantee you'll STILL like it!
