There's not enough words to write what this show was for me and has helped me. It may have been on alcoholism but you could replace alcoholism with plenty of other things and benefit from one of Mom's episodes. This show was a great balance of seriousness and comedy in my opinion. I believe every character gave this show something that it needed. Like a puzzle with all the correct pieces. It was also great to see Anna in a more serious role. I've always thought she was a great actress and the characters she played didn't show her versatility until she was Christy on MOM. It's hard balancing comedy with serious subjects but she and the rest of the cast did it well. This show imo was about something when not many TV shows on these days are. So I'm glad I got to experience it. Even got my mom to watch it. And we'd enjoy the show together.

Man time sure does fly by. One minute you're young the next minute you're in your 20's granted still young but still. Anyway found this on Netflix and so I decided to rewatch it and the nostalgia came rushing back. This show was one of the best shows created and still holds up to this day. The plot was simple but great. The characters were great tho sometimes they could be annoying and for the era the show was made in the graphics were pretty great as well. I'd rather watch this then the trash they have on TV nowadays.

I'm not really into cop shows but I don't know when I came across this show and read what it was about something told me to watch it and I'm glad I did. Now when I came across The Rookie it had already been out for about 3yrs. Any way after watching the first episode I binged watched the rest of them. It's different then some other cop shows I've seen. It has a great cast who have great chemistry with one another and great story writers. Every actor/actress gives an excellent performance in my opinion. They're so good at what they do you sometimes forget you're watching a show it just pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. And I really appreciate how they can blend the comedy and drama so well together that when it comes time for a funny or serious part it doesn't feel out of place. All in all this is a great show with a wonderful cast and a lot of heart in it.

There aren't really enough words to say how much I really enjoy watching this show! The cast is amazing, the chemistry between them is awesome. The story telling in my opinion is well put together. You can see the heart of everyone involved in each episode. You can tell they put their all into each one. Queen Latifah is the main character but this show is written in such a way to where it's like all the characters are important and I like that in show. Everyone gets to shine. And you see each one enough to actually feel something for them to actually care what happens next. The show draws you in. And the fact that there's been only 18 episodes and it already does and has so much great things to it says enough.

I actually enjoy this show. It's a breath of fresh air compared to other shows out there right now that are just pretty much about drugs and sex. It's crazy how quickly we humans can find something to complain about. Instead of trying to find positives we instead go straight for the nit-picking. This show may have been made because of Miranda, but it's not MIRANDA. The show is already out there why make the exact same thing you can ALREADY watch? this show could become something great. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it's fresh and something clean to watch in a world that is all about sex, drugs, and alcohol.
