I watched this film last night, doing so had been the worst choice I had made all day. With absolutely nothing to make it stand out amongst a line-up of B grade made for TV movies I ask myself “how did this title wind up on the ‘critically acclaimed’ list on Netflix”. With what is an evidentially minuscule production budget, the film takes place in the same 2 square kilometres of forest. The modest sets they did have were that of a few shabby cabins, and the costumes looked like a middle schooler designed them. The story line is dull yet confusing and predictable at the same time (not even sure how that’s possible, perhaps the writers deserve some kind of award for that one). Don’t expect any intriguing sci-fi-esque examples of life after an apocalypse, or even how the said apocalyptic occurred. Just a lackluster chain of events which were about as interesting as a sack of apples. Cheers!
