I just watched this for the first time and I must say that 50's acting was outstanding, the narration too. I procrastinated getting to see this movie because of the saturated gangstar movies out there. Everyone in it brought forth stellar performances. I resonated most with the ending narration, "I've been looking for my father all my life, I realized, I was looking for myself." Screw all the negative reviews, get this movie!

To be quite frank, this movie sucks. The new Morpheus did not have the same energy as Laurence Fishburne, he turned the character into a clown, and that may not be his fault as he was only following the script. A wasted effort at recreating Morpheus, same thing for the new Agent Smith. Keanu never at all seemed to have become alert, it’s like he still wasn’t awake even up to the end, we hoped to see a badass moment, which never came. The action sequences were repetitive and boring. I loved Jada Pinkett’s acting effort and that of the new crew, not to mention Neil Patrick Harris. The plot was weak and exaggerated. I strongly feel Lana Wachowski was selfish on this and it cost her what could’ve been a good sequel to Revolutions.

Absolutely incredible. To hell with the critics reviews, this was a great movie. It has a different touch from the original movie but it is quite enjoyable.

I loved it. Didn’t follow the clichè hip hop movies. Had a creative storyline and the acting was outstanding.

Monotonous, redundant. Only Tyrese and Ludacris’s humor made it a decent effort.

I honestly feel the Director did a great job at keeping the story on track with only two characters. Zendaya was remarkable in her role. John David Washington showed strong acting skills in most scenes but his anger was over done.

Nearly half as good as the first film
