It’s no secret that Sam Heughan is a very talented actor and gives 120% to each role he plays. His role as Tom Buckingham in Andy McNabb’s SAS Red Notice, is indicative to his dedication to “getting it right”, as is his work ethic in all things, proves out. Although Sam’s demeanor truly indicates he is a regular guy with a job to do, he performs that job as more than a regular guy. While thoroughly enjoying what he does as an actor, enjoying the outdoors, the action, the work it takes to make his character come to life, and the friendly interaction with the rest of the very capable and talented cast, I think it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing a lot more of Sam on the big screen, not only as Tom Buckingham (in sequels), but perhaps as the next James Bond. Sam is more than capable of handling the role as Bond and it’s high time for a fresh face and Sam is that fresh face.
