Another steaming pile of garbage. Everything since 2k19 has been horrible, 2k20 was possibly the worst game I’ve ever played, 2k23 was somewhere between 2k19 and 2k20 in terms of how bad it is. I’ve had the game 2 days now and every single time I’ve tried to play has had some bug or glitch. I did a war games match and my partners just never came out. I did a royal rumble and no one came out after number 22. Both times I just had to quit and restart. Gameplay is horrible, like a copy pasted version of 2k22 with absolutely nothing fixed and some features taken out. Constantly your hits just go through the compute, slow clunky gameplay, dumb long time wasting animation for certain moves where the computer can interrupt you but you can’t do anything, still no 4 man entrances, and outdated settings on most the models. This is literally just a small update for 2k22, there’s no way to is should be it’s own original game. If this was an add on for $20 maybe it would be worth it, but imagine buying the deluxe version for $100 and the only new things you get is a glitch filled war games match that doesn’t work 1/4 of the time and a couple of new wrestlers. Even the bonus characters are a joke, bad bunny? Who cares. I only got this game because my aew pre order was delayed again until 2024 and after ordering in mid 2022 I just wanted a refund and was only given store credit and made the unfortunate mistake of giving wwe games another chance. So safe to say if aew doesn’t impress me, I’m done with wrestling games. They’re just not worth it anymore, paying 60-100$ every year for some glitch fest copy pasted add on is a joke.

Who designed this game? They should probably never work in gaming again. This game is comically bad. You’ll try to punch someone and the punches just go through them, you try to run at someone it runs the other directions, you got someone coming at you and you want to switch to aim at them and it’ll switch to everyone but the closest person aiming and walking towards you. Sometimes there will be glitches like no matter how many times you try to do a certain move it will reverse that specific move and not let you do it even if you tried a hundred times. The game is more frustrating than challenging on top of all the glitches and bad game play. Only decent part are community creations you can download. Everything else is terrible.
