This movie is completely inappropriate for young elementary school age children. Extremely existential and definitely using inappropriate terms that a child would not understand in the context of the dialogue between the characters.. using the word hate, dumb , I have no purpose, meaningless etc.. such deep concepts for children to grasp. Even a middle school child would need an explanation for some of the scenes involved. . Our world is difficult is enough and to bring this deep movie out for children to see is ridiculous. Only young adults would begin to grasp the depth of this theme. I watched it with a 7 year old and had to turn it off. She couldn't even begin to follow it and she is a very bright girl. The context was 100 percent inappropriate for children .. The transition of the characters were so very complex and advanced. Shame on Disney. Not everyone wants to be so progressive so early. Another way for disney to take in the money for families that think this will be a light, fun, film for children to get lost in joy & happiness. Instead , raising questions of why am I feeling meaningless, why do people hate me, why am I not good enough.... Let's keep perpetuating a cycle of emotional turmoil in our youth. Even with a message in the end of value, only an emotionally evolved person and young adult is ready to handle this complex theme... .. thumbs down for Elementary school children!!!
