Up until today I valued Ms McCain's wisdom, critical thinking and fairness. Today she lost me. She was blatantly rude to Ms Trump. Her personal experience with authors clouded her ability to read the book for what it was. She focused on the "pieces" that could reduce the book to fodder while missing many of the points as to the depth of the family history. You all also failed to mention that she has extensive training in psychology and was looking at the family through that lens, not just a book for profit which was mentioned. I had been looking forward to the interview but am disappointed. I thought it lacked depth of thought and thoroughness of reading the book
