I read that Byrd was never even ASKED to be part of Judy Justice. Judy Scheindlin had to have known the backlash would be instant and severe. Yet she did it anyway. I can't figure out her motivation.
The granddaughter is beautiful and the end conversations with her are obviously meant to educate young people, but she should have something to do during the cases, or be put in a visible place in the audience as an observer.
I've always loved Judge Judy, but Bryd's absence looms over each case like a black cloud. I hope she and Bryd work something out for next season.
