I don't understand why everyone keeps questioning why Frances couldn't just physically overpower Greta. She was drugged. Greta didn't just drug her to get her into her home she continued to do so once she was there. She was also tied up most of the time and terrified of going back into the box. I also think its part of her character to be easily submissive and weak. That's the exact type of people Greta was luring to her. She wasn't going after fighters and strong willed girls. Also when Frances is possibly the most lucid she does physically hurt Greta and does her best to get out. Yes maybe she should've tried breaking a window upstairs or maybe just continued bashing Greta's head in, but I mean she didn't just stand around and do nothing. Its not the worst wasted chance I've ever seen in a thriller/horror movie. All in all the movie was decent and the only thing that annoyed me was Erica almost getting hit by a taxi. Also that overused trope where someone shows up at the place where the person is being held captive and discovers the victim but then gets hurt or killed by the captor. Not my favorite but it didn't ruin the movie for me. Basically I saw it as a better produced, written, acted lifetime movie.
