Animation was good. Voice acting was mostly good. But spoiler, they kill he-man not once, but twice. He literally makes a cameo, then serves as a plot point. Then it's a Teela and friends/frenemies, poorly written and rushed action movie broken into 5 parts. Characters introduced out of nowhere and defeated with absolutely no ceremony. The early 2000s reboot was far better. Total tropefest, the angsty emotional Teela, her more rational partner in crime, the guilt ridden disgraced father figure, the dorky comic relief sidekick, the I used to be evil but now I'm good but not really betrayer and her lackey. Unimaginative and overdone.
