This show is undoubtedly one of if not THE BEST animated/kids show of all time. Even though mid-season Spongebob is rarely good and mostly ok and at worst it is horrible. Early Spongebob and Newer Spongebob(seasons 1-3 and seasons 9-Present) are the best parts of the series. While Early Spongebob will probably not be beat for a while, Newer Spongebob is getting better and better as time moves on, and are hitting good episodes that are at the same level of legendary as the original 3 seasons. Maybe one day, there will be a season of Spongebob that is better than any of the 3 seasons, and that may be happening soon. Watch Spongebob yourself in order to get the full grasp. However, here are some deatils: We have a few main characters: Spongebob, who is a sometimes smart kid-like sometimes adult who s mostly nice, Patrick, who is dumb sometimes a jerk and sometimes helpful and Spongebob's best friend, Sandy, A usually smart friend of Spongebob who may or may not have feelings for him and is very proud of her Texan ancestry, Squidward, A mostly jerk who is not happy and is horrible at everything he sometimes deserves the karma that he gets sometimes not and sometimes he goes too far and he can have fun/be happy, Mr. Krabs, A almost father figure to Spongebob and sometimes Patrick who is very greedy and actually has a daughter and romantic partner he may or may not actually care about(sometimes it's hard to tell what he loves the most), Pearl, Mr. Krabs daughter who is a whale and is a classic teenager, Mrs. Puff, Spongebob's driving teacher for many years most of the time she is nice and caring although there have been times where she is so annoyed with Spongebob she goes crazy also she is Mr. Krabs partner, Plankton, the main villain of the series and wants to steal the formula he is also mostly a jerk although sometimes has humanity, Karen, Plankton's computer wife who reluctantly helps him. There is also the famous Krabby Patty, the best sandwich ever. A ton of recycled designs(which is not bad) and side characters like Larry, Fred and Ned. There are also multiple episode formulas such as: Plankton scheme episodes, Patrick and Spongebob, Annoying Squidward, Krusty Krab antics, etc.
