It's hard to make a good sequel, you have to bring things from the original, but the new film has to fly on its own. Double Tap brings things from the original, but didn't quite make it off the ground. It needed to be funnier, sharper and more clever. But the characters are still lovable and we still care for them. And Metallica still in the opening action scenes, which was good. The ending was very clunky, I dunno. I'd give the whole thing the benefit of the doubt, but maybe it was a missed opportunity.
