I was in the 10th grade when this movie was released, and unfortunately, I missed watching it in the theater. However, I managed to watch it on television. Since it was a horror movie, I couldn't enjoy it at that time, but the songs were/are exceptional. This year, in July 2024, the movie was re-released in a remastered 4K version and I had been longing to watch it in the theater. On August 15, 2024, my dream came true when I watched this masterpiece on the big screen, which I had missed in 2000. I watched it at Cinepolis, Screen 6. The movie gave me many goosebumps and brought me to tears, especially with the song "Entharo Mahanu Bhavalu" played during the end credits. Vidyasagar's music composition and the visual treat created by Director Sibi Malayil and Cinematographer Santosh Thundiyil left me speechless. It is difficult to express the acting marvel showcased by Mohanlal, Jayaprada, Murali, and Vijayalakshmi in words. I empathized with the director and producer, given that the movie only had an average performance at the box office in 2000, but now, I am happy for them as it collected over 5 crore at the box office after its re-release 24 years later.
