Having NOT read the book or played the games I was intrigued to watch this with my partner. We are fans of Game of Thrones, and seeing this trailor, we decided to give this a go. Although the acting is good, action is great and from first instincts the series seems to have huge potential. However it does lack in the story line and shaping of the characters, leaving us, (the watchers), a little confused as to what the hell is actually going on and who people are. It’s difficult to suss the story out, even after 4 episodes, we still don’t really know what’s going on. It’s such a shame as it is good but when you can’t follow the story it’s pretty pointless. I just hope it becomes more clear otherwise I fear more people who haven’t followed the Witcher books or games may not give this series the time of day.
