If only American TV were half as good as this series. The directing and acting were brilliant - whole scenes that were wonderful to watch without a word being spoken. I, too, wanted to take occasional breaks because of the emotional power, but couldn't because it was so compelling. We watched all of season 2 from 5 PM until 3 AM two nights ago.
