I enjoyed this movie. It's not the typical American horror movie where you can see the twist a mile away. It's not the movie that will take your breath away, but the plot was not messy. Every scene made sense. The character development among the protagonists are well executed too. It was well directed too. My only issue on this movie is its soundtrack. I liked how it sounded, but I don't think it suits very well to accompany this movie. It's unique, but it's probably not just my taste. Overall, the movie is good. I wouldn't say it's great, but it was very entertaining.

Spiral is honestly the worst film in the entire Saw franchise. Every film in the Saw franchise makes you think what's going to happen next. You're at the edge of your seat, thrilled for what's about to occur. And I'd typically lose track of time whenever I watch any horror movies, especially those I enjoy the most. However, this movie makes me stare at my watch for the duration of it. I'd rather watch the time pass by than the movie itself. The humor is so dry, which is a bit of a let down, given that Chris Rock and Samuel Jackson are the main protagonists on this one. You can also see the twist a mile away. There's no element of surprise.
