I am personally not a KJo fan but this movie is so nicely directed that I can’t help but praise him for his amazing direction. Alia and Ranveer did a wonderful job, it felt like producers didn’t have to spend much on Ranveer’s costumes as most of it could be arranged from his wardrobe only. Alia was well suited as an educated Bengali journalist that she played on screen. This movie is a perfect entertainer in all terms, the first half was full of laughter and in the second half movie takes an emotional turn. The light hearted messages from time to time the movie tried to convey in the second half were very apt in today’s world. After very long I have seen a movie in which I laughed my heart out and the same time felt emotional and touched. And to all these people calling movie to be typical and mixing political correctness at all times, I wanna say, please take a chill pill, a movie is just meant to entertain which this one certainly does. And apparently it sends the right message with entertainment. Go for it give! Don’t listen to what people like Kangana and typical right wing activists on Twitter says. I am also right wing but looking at the unnecessary negative publicity some accounts are giving to this movie, I felt like writing this. I mean it’s okay to not like KJo for his social stance at times and at the same time appreciating him for his beautiful direction for this movie.
